The Heart Behind the Lens
My story
My grandmother may not have realized it at the time, but she taught me the importance of photographs.
She would show me images from her childhood in Italy, her siblings, her parents, her family. These photos became a visual timeline of her life. Immigrating to New York. Marrying my grandfather. Raising a family. Watching my mother, her siblings, and their cousins grow up together in Brooklyn during the 50s and 60s.
Through those images, I learned that photographs are how we come to know our family beyond who they were in our own lifetime. We only experience people as they exist while we’re here — but photographs allow us to understand the chapters that came before us.
They become proof of love.
Of history.
Of who we were at a specific moment in time.
That understanding stayed with me. And it is the heart of why I do what I do today.

Formally trained with a BFA in Photography and shaped by nearly two decades of experience, my work blends strong foundations with an intuitive, human-centered approach to documenting love and emotionally meaningful moments.
I learned photography in the darkroom, developing film by hand, studying light and composition long before digital convenience. That foundation still guides me today.
But what truly sets my work apart isn’t just the education or the experience. It’s the way I make you feel.
I guide when you need direction. I step back when authenticity is unfolding. I create space for you to breathe, relax, and be fully present.
Clients often tell me they feel nervous before their session, and leave saying, “That was actually so much fun.”
